OUR STAY IN LAGOS, PORTUGAL
On our two-week trip to Portugal and Spain, we stopped in Lagos, Portugal. We found the ideal Airbnb for our family, one of our favorites thus far. We were looking for something with 3 beds, a full kitchen, close to the main area but not too close and this place fit the bill.
GREAT LOCATION
Staying at this apartment was a wonderful experience since the apartment is located within the historic city walls of Lagos, Portugal. It offers a charming location that strikes a perfect balance between proximity to attractions and tranquility.
Situated on a quiet side street, the apartment is within walking distance to key destinations without subjecting guests to the typical noise associated with central locations.
A short stroll to the end of the side street, followed by a left turn, leads you to the vibrant main square, adorned by the renowned Green House and surrounded by bustling shops and restaurants that come alive in the evenings.
We found Lagos and the old town in particular to be a comfortable safe space for families to stay and explore. We were out at night often and it was never a problem.

Welcoming guests at the apartment, she imparts valuable insights into local restaurants and attractions, fostering a sense of familiarity and warmth. Her proximity to the apartment proves invaluable, offering reassurance and assistance if needed.
The personal touch Theresa adds to the stay reflects in the stress free coordination, leaving guests feeling at home in a new city.
A SPACIOUS PLACE FOR FAMILIES
Tailored for a family of four, the apartment unfolds its spacious layout, featuring three well-proportioned bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Nestled in a traditional building on the second floor, the apartment exudes charm, although without an elevator.
This wasn’t a problem for us since we pack light, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The family room serves as a communal hub, offering a comfortable sitting area accompanied by a television, as well as a dining table with chairs. Large doors open up, providing an option for a window-like experience, allowing in the refreshing breeze.
The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stove, microwave, fridge, and essential supplies, seamlessly integrates with a dining area. A practical addition, the washer, strategically placed in the kitchen, is complemented by clotheslines for efficient drying – a feature appreciated for its utility.
The well-designed space extends to every corner of the apartment, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment without imposing burdensome departure cleaning requirements.
The main bedroom impresses with its generous size and en suite bathroom, while the additional bedrooms, tastefully adorned and offering ample storage space for clothes and luggage, cater to the diverse needs of the occupants.
One of the bedrooms even features a desk, providing a versatile space for work or leisure.
Our family of four had plenty of space to relax after long days of sightseeing. We were able to use the bedrooms and living areas comfortably. The extra space is one of the main reasons we prefer renting an apartment when we travel and this apartment is delivered.

Reservation was easy through Airbnb. Theresa did a great job communicating throughout the experience and the descriptions were accurate so there were no surprises.
